My Path To Becoming A Hypnotherapist.
The year was 1982 and after a tragic loss in my life and a lot going on with a stressful job i became overwhelmed and felt i couldn’t cope.
I became quite ill and started losing a lot of weight, eventually i was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and was often in hospital.
One day a friend recommended Hypnotherapy to help cope with the pain i was constantly in, and on her recommendation made an appointment, i was quite sceptical as to how Hypnotherapy would help but my scepticism was unfounded as i learned about self hypnosis in order to control my pain, i still practice those teachings to this day.
I really found my experience with Hypnotherapy quite profound and became fascinated over how it actually worked, so much so i trained and qualified a few years ago, since then i have had the privilege of helping countless people young and old to fulfil their dreams by shacking off the shackles that were holding them back.
After a few sessions the change i have witnessed in my clients, wether it’s freeing someone from smoking or dealing with past trauma still affecting them in later life has been amazing and a great pleasure, the reward for helping people change their lives is immeasurable, it is in deed the best part of my job.
